Westfield Garden State Plaza
We were hired to provide construction estimating services for the renovation and expansion of the Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, New Jersey. This project involved modernizing the existing shopping center while adding new retail spaces. Our certified estimating team reviewed architectural plans and specifications to understand project requirements.
Scope of Work
We used advanced estimating and takeoff software to measure sizes and quantify materials needed for each phase of the project.
Demolition: Estimation for removing outdated structures and clearing the site for new construction.
Excavation: Earthwork, including cut and fill operations and grading.
Concrete Foundations: Concrete for footings and foundation walls to support the new retail areas.
Structural Steel Work: Steel beams and columns for the new sections of the shopping plaza.
Interior Finishes: Installing drywall, flooring, and fixtures, enhancing the aesthetics of the renovated spaces.
Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP): Setting up efficient HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical wiring to accommodate the needs of a busy shopping center.
We delivered detailed material lists and cost estimates in an Excel spreadsheet format. We used zip-code-based pricing and RS Means data for accurate materials costs for competitive pricing. Our team provided cost estimates to the client in just 18 hours. This enabled him to win the bid and streamline the budget planning process material procurement, resource allocation, and overall project management.
